It may be impossible to go back in time and be a child again... but it is never too late to bring out that "child-like" faith in us.
Perhaps we may think that as grown ups we know more about life... that it is our responsibility to teach the young.
But children are the better "teachers" i believe... A child's untainted heart and pure innocence is precisely what we need be reminded on how to live a better life.
For most of us who had a "happy childhood", isn't it great to reminisce how we found joy and fulfillment in the simple things in life?
I had a happy childhood and now that I am a "mom", it is my desire for my son to experience the same. And as i guide him through life, it is quite surprising how much I am learning about my own life as well.
Personally, I have learned so much from my 3-year old son...
FAITH is all about trusting and letting go.
LOVE is what makes the world go around.
HAPPINESS can be experienced in life's simple pleasures.
HOPE is always possible.
If only we can be a child forever... but growing up doesn't always mean that we have to leave behind that "child-like" wonder within us.
Growing old is inevitable... but to have the faith, love, joy and hope like a child is a choice we can make.
