COFFEE REFLECTIONS: Freedom From Sin

Christian living is the unity of the heart, mind, soul and body. In simple words, it is the oneness of our entire being.

The Christian life is a tough one to pursue. It should be our goal to live a life that is pleasing to God... to walk the path to righteousness. It is to follow in Christ's steps.

But this is not the easiest road to take...

There is no perfect life... There can never be a person untainted with sin... but we can strive to live free.

Set our hearts free from worldly desires and ill feelings.

Set our minds free from evil thoughts.

Set our souls free from the consequences of our sins and unrighteous living.

Set our bodies free from the impurity of our actions.

We all desire to be free and God is willing to grant us that freedom.

But let us exercise our freedom in the right sense - that is to do not only what will make us happy... but to do what is right.

Love is something we experience right from the very moment of our conception. Inside a mother's womb, the first sound a child listens to is the sweet sound of love beating from a mother's heart. The first sight a child first learn to appreciate is the tender gaze of a mother's loving eyes. The first touch a child can feel is the warmth of a mother's embrace.
