In Honor of St. Joseph the Worker

While most people are taking time off today to rest, my husband is preparing to leave for Mission. God's work must go on no matter what. My devotion to St. Joseph never fails to affirm me of how blessed I am to have a husband who puts God at the center of our family life.

This devotion which initially began as a prayer to find the ideal husband, through the years became a deeper relationship. He is my personal intercessor. He never fails to strengthen the important "men" in my life - my husband, dad, and brothers.

May the prayers of good St Joseph the Worker, and Our Lady, his virginal spouse, help men to be men and renew the face of the earth with holy and just living - from Catholic Online

Love is something we experience right from the very moment of our conception. Inside a mother's womb, the first sound a child listens to is the sweet sound of love beating from a mother's heart. The first sight a child first learn to appreciate is the tender gaze of a mother's loving eyes. The first touch a child can feel is the warmth of a mother's embrace. A newborn baby learns to feel love the minute his heart begins to beat. Love simply comes naturally for all of us who are blessed to live. For indeed, LOVE gives birth to LIFE. It is the very essence of our being. It is the very reason for us to fulfill our purpose and destiny.
